BTW cosy, why can't it be a mod section for the OTA?!?!? I would apply for that job.

We've never had postal carriers deliver things at the same time. Even with the same guy, sometimes we'd get our mail at 10am and sometimes at 5pm. It's annoying.

It is way too damn hot out, blech.

I've been watching E3 stuff, the Assassin's Creed videos have me so excited for November.

glad you take breaks--heat exhaustion is nothing to sneeze at really.

I had a routine with my old carriers---mail before 12:30pm so I could go and get stuff done (our village aint that big really).....now with the new guy not getting here before 2pm it makes for more difficult timings.

(no idea what time the mailman used to come when I was a kid--never worried about packages disappearing where I lived then, so one of my siblings or I would just pick it up on the way up the driveway after school--it was always there by 4:30pm unless it was around xmas).

no, we dont have a quota....(used to---). I was making a joke, sorry it didnt quite come across (though the extra smilies should have been a clue).
We do like mods to be active--most especially in Ventari's since we have so many threads and posts daily----but no, not a quota-----

Sorry, I usually would have got that but I am exhausted from work and then swimming with my nephews. Moving a one ton machine around all day is apparently very tiring.

It was on wheels and I had to push it all around the gym. On a floor that doesn't like wheels. The floor is a wood basketball floor but a type of rubber floor so the machine sinks in, making it difficult to move. Very uncool.

We haven't got rain in a while. Though we might get some today and tomorrow, which if it cools things off, I'm all for.

It's right now 40 degrees cooler than it was this time yesterday, haha. Storms all night mean that I didn't sleep well, and now there's flood warnings everywhere...yippee. But at least it's not hot anymore.

yeah nice cold front (and nice headache I got from it).

well my sister sent the rest of the stuff from my mom's today---just groovy.....2 more boxes of books, one of stuff and one of stuffed toys---now I have to find my mongo shoe horn to see if I can find a place (other than right in front of my front door) for these things---think I have some space for the stuffies....but the books....that means an adventure into the spare room---------so if you dont hear from me say on monday, I will probably need someone to call some help.....(will be planning the adventure for the weekend when the hubby can bring the cell phone)...........

no teasing here...I hate thunderstorms too....have had a few too many close calls.
am liking NOT having the a/c coming on every 15 minutes....but I wish the cool air would rise a wee be higher than my knees (I just spent 2 hours moving boxes/rearranging--and my feet are now cold and my head is sweating).....though I guess I could just sit on the floor for a while (or learn to walk on my hands

).

I used to hate thunderstorms but I don't mind them so much anymore. They are kind of nice and fun to watch. And means cooler weather. Which is good!

got to talk with my mom today....first time she was actually coherent enough to carry on a conversation since february....so am a little happier today.

Cooler weather in the summer is always a plus. Went in today and was actually cold when I got to work! still pretty nice out.

I prefer 75 tbh. Better swimming temperature. 65 is a bit on the chilly side.
